Welcome to Dunn School!

If you're looking for a transformative college-prep education in an intimate and supportive community for grades 6 through 12, I invite you to consider Dunn.

Please read about our school and watch videos that describe the transformative Dunn experience in the voices of our students, parents, teachers and alumni.

I hope you'll be inspired to visit our beautiful campus in sunny California. A campus visit is the best way to understand why so many families talk about the Dunn community's palpable warmth, personal attention and intellectually-vibrant, happy students.

At Dunn, we understand that every child arrives with certain talents and gifts. These gifts may be immediately apparent in the classroom or on the athletic field, or they may be as yet undiscovered potential, waiting to be realized in academic studies, in art or music, on top of a mountain, or behind a podium. Dunn students find and cultivate their passions in a community that inspires self-discovery and intellectual growth.

For over 50 years, Dunn's mission has been to educate the whole child to his or her fullest potential in preparation for a life of learning and responsible leadership in society.

To accomplish our mission, we as students, teachers, staff, parents, trustees, and friends are committed to understanding and living by five core values: Academic Excellence, Emotional Wellness, Physical Readiness, Social Responsibility, and Moral Courage.

I invite you to come visit us at Dunn, and see if this is the school community you've been looking for.

Sincerely,
Mike Beck

At Dunn everyone--students, teachers, and parents--was embroiled in some kind of conspiracy to make each other succeed and grow. Everyone was looking out for me and wanted to harness my potential to be the best I could possibly be. This is the motor that drives everyone at Dunn, the spirit ingrained in me by the four years of high school, that my success and happiness is ultimately linked to that of my community members.
