Recommended Course Load
Students must be enrolled in a minimum of five courses each semester. Factors such as placement examinations and a student's previous academic program and preparation are considered in planning each course schedule.
Freshman
English 9 • Algebra 1, Geometry, or Math 1 Honors • History 9 • Conceptual Physics or Accelerated Conceptual Physics • Foreign Language I • Studio Art 1A/1B or Applied Music
Sophomore
English 10 or English 10 Honors • Geometry, Algebra 2, or Math 2 Honors • History 10 or History 10 Honors • Chemistry • Foreign Language • Elective
Junior
English 11 or AP English Language • Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, or Math 3 Honors • U.S. History or AP U.S. History • Biology or AP Biology* • Foreign Language • Elective
Senior
English 12 or AP English Literature • Pre-Calculus, Advanced Mathematics, AP Calculus, or AP Statistics • Social Science Elective •Foreign Language • Independent Senior Project
