Alumni WelcomeIf Dunn School is anything it is a family. Proudly, our family tree, nearly half a century old, is flourishing. We have our founders and pioneers (roots), our generations that followed (trunk), and the future generations (new growth). Without all of you, the alumni, our great school would be but a hollow stump. As Edward Simmons, a former headmaster wrote: "Tradition in any institution is important. The best and strongest schools in the country, whether they be secondary or college level, are distinguished by strong, active alumni groups. No single constituency can do more to affirm and strengthen the traditions of a school than the alumni. They add vitality and momentum to a successful school. I firmly believe that the attitude of the alumni also contributes significantly to the morale and outlook of the current students and faculty, for if a school's own alumni aren't loyal, enthusiastic and involved, who will be?" On behalf of my father, Tony Dunn, and the entire Dunn Community both past and present, I thank you for your involvement. Whether it is serving on the board, showing up to events, giving money, leading an assembly, hosting a school gathering, serving as class agent, or simply staying in touch... your acts of caring keep our Dunn family vital and strong. —Michael A.
