Ping Pong Fest Results
Dunn Wins “Golden Paddle” Ping Pong Award for Second Consecutive Year!
On Sunday, March 21st, the third annual ping pong fest was held in the Dunn Gym. A total of 64 players participated with 26 players from Midland School, 22 from Dunn School, and 18 community/parent participants. As part of the competition the top finishers between Dunn and Midland scored points for their team. The Earwigs scored 106 points and Midland scored 14 points, earning a win for the wig’s and the “Golden Paddle Award” for 2010.
The final winners, all from Dunn, in the Singles Division of the tournament:
1st place = Ryan Yau
2nd place = Aaron Hou
3rd place – Brandon Yau
4th place = Mark Geriak
Ryan Yau won his 2nd consecutive championship in this annual event and has not lost a match in two years.
The final winners in the Doubles Division of the tournament:
1st place = Ryan Yau and Jonny Hogan (Dunn)
2nd place = Jamie Gathard and Isaac Oltmans (Midland)
Yau and Hogan won their second consecutive doubles championship and they have not lost a match in two years.
