The college counseling office works with students from ninth to twelfth grades. During class meetings throughout the year with the college counseling team, students learn about the college admissions process and work on identifying and developing their unique academic and personal strengths.

Beginning in the spring of their junior year, students meet one-on-one with college counselors, build a list of prospective colleges with the goal of finding the “best, right match,” and begin writing their college essays. In the fall of their senior year, students meet with college admissions officers who visit Dunn School and again meet one-on-one with college counselors to hone their college list, refine essays, and complete college applications.
