Resident Programs

The following programs are hosted by Dunn School. Participants stay in the dormitories, eat in the dining hall and have use of the facilities. To register for any of these programs, either email the contact or register directly through their websites.

American Red Cross Training School

• Lifeguard Training/ CPR for the Professional Rescuer: June 5-8
  • $225, includes material, room, and board

• CPR for the Professional Rescuer: June 7-8
  • $45, includes materials
• Adult/Child/Infant CPR: June 7

UCSB Soccer Camp

• June 16-20

The emphasis of the camp is on skills development and basic tactical movements. Scrimmages occur everyday in both small groups (for more touches on the ball) and large groups (understanding movements off of the ball). Camp Rince Ceol

• June 22-27

Designed by former Riverdance Performers, Camp Rince Ceol (rinka key-ol) is a summer camp for aspiring students of Irish dance. Their primary focus is to bring Irish dancers from all over the world together in a non-competitive atmosphere to share their love of Irish dance. www.irishdancecamp.com

Chess Camp

• June 23-27

Beginner to expert players will be instructed in the various techniques of chess playing by Joe Hanley, National Master. Learn openings, middle game theory, basic endgame tactics and more. Joe Handley, 714-925-3195.

Athletes for Life/NFL Junior Player Development Football Camp

• June 29-July 2

The AFL/NFL JPD program integrates on-field skills development with life skills and character development. As they plan for future high school interscholastic activities, participants receive instruction from NFL-selected high school coaches. America's Baseball Camp

• July 13, 14-18 and/or July 20, 20-25

ABC's staff of former and current professional players, coaches and scouts will help you improve your game. Players will spend up to 35 hours practicing drills and playing in games culminating in a verbal assessment of skills. July 13 and July 20 are intensive hitting training days. www.baseballcampus.com
