What does the Dunn School Fund pay for?

The Dunn School Fund this year - as always - will support the educational programs that immediately and directly help Dunn students become their best selves. This includes academic programs, whole student enrichment, faculty professional growth, arts and athletics, financial aid, and campus improvements.

How much should I give?

We ask you to give as generously as you are able. Your gifts make a difference in our students' lives, and affirm that you value Dunn School's personalized approach to educating the whole child.

What area should I give to?

We urge you to consider making an unrestricted gift. Unrestricted donations give Dunn School invaluable strength and flexibility to address funding priorities as needs arise. However, you may restrict your gift to an initiative that is meaningful to you, including: technology, financial aid, college counseling services, or other programs.

What's the difference between a gift to the Dunn School Fund, and a capital or endowment gift?

A capital gift is normally a major gift ($100,000+) that goes toward projects like new buildings. A gift to endowment provides a long-term investment in scholarships, faculty excellence, or other endowed funds. Annual giving to the Dunn School Fund goes to work immediately to provide programmatic excellence to Dunn students.

What are my tax benefits of giving?

All gifts to the Dunn School Fund are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Additional tax benefits may be realized through gifts of stock, real estate or other assets.

How will I be recognized?

All donors are gratefully acknowledged in Dunn School's Annual Report. Giving circles are as follows:

Gift CircleAmount
Head of School  $25,000+
Red Barn$5,000+
FoundationUp to $999
