During their Middle School years, students learn the methods of science with freedom to follow topics wherever they lead.

Students pursue scientific exploration, with an emphasis on firsthand observation, asking open questions, doing independent experiments, keeping careful records, and writing proper lab reports.

Students master the careful use of equipment and numbers, computer spreadsheets for graphing and analysis, and use the Internet as a two-way information resource.

We encourage self-reliance and ingenuity. The Middle School science lab is also the school workshop, and students are often called upon to improvise and build their own lab equipment for experiments. Graduates of our science program are regular winners in local science fairs, and a significant number pursue science in college and beyond.

My kids truly love coming
to school every day.
I'm amazed at how much
they do.
