Tim Weir Brings Experience to Campus
Dunn is pleased to announce that Tim Weir will join the community this summer as Alumni Affairs Coordinator as well as Athletic Director for the Upper School. He will live on campus as a House Head for the 2018-19 school year.
Tim comes to Dunn after serving two years as Director of Admission at Midland School in Los Olivos. He has also held administrative positions in admissions, athletics, and student life at the Masters School (New York), The Ross School (New York), Davidson Day School (North Carolina), Leysin American School (Switzerland), and The Governor’s Academy (Mass.).
Tim is no stranger to Dunn, as he is the parent of a Dunn graduate in 2017.
"I am very excited to begin my new roles at Dunn School," he says. "I strongly support Dunn's mission of Educating the Whole Child and believe that athletics can play a major part in developing character and leadership skills that are vital in today's world."
"I'm also looking forward to working with our alumni and keeping them up to date on all that is happening on campus."
"Independent school administrators must often wear many hats, and it takes the right person to perform the necessary functions to run a comprehensive boarding and day school like Dunn," says Head of School Mike Beck. "We're fortunate to have someone of Tim's deep experience and talent—who knows how schools work—coming to Dunn."
