Registration for Summer Programs
March 22, 2017
Registration for Dunn's popular summer programs is now open, and programs are beginning to fill up fast!
“Experiential learning at Dunn School doesn't stop when the school year ends,” says Christy Nordgren, Director of Summer Programs. “Our summer programs allow students from near and far to experience Dunn's core values and exceptional approach to immersive learning—and have a lot of fun along the way.”
Programs include the Summer Academy, the popular Aquatics program, a baseball camp, and Wilderness First Aid training for adults.

The Summer Academy is a month-long residential program focused on preparing students for the upcoming school year in a fun, safe environment. Students come to Dunn from across the U.S. and around the world, which makes for a lively and diverse community.
Students in the Academy select one of two tracks: Learning Strategies (where students "learn how to learn,") and English as a Second Language. Students do class work in the mornings in their respective programs, and then co-mingle in the afternoons and evening for elective activities—such as rock climbing, surfing, swimming, arts and other athletics—and special field trips, including a trip to an L.A. Dodgers game.
This year's Summer Academy runs July 15 through August 11.
Since the 1960s, local families have taken advantage of Dunn School's outdoor pool and summer programming. Programs include beginning and advanced swimming lessons, Splashball camp, lifeguard training and the popular Family Pool Pass.
