The Foreigner Comes to Campus

Dunn School Drama is proud to present The Foreigner, an outrageous comedy about how we deal with people who are not like us.

The play opens runs from Thursday, Nov. 9, through Saturday, Nov. 11. All shows start at 7:30 p.m. in the Jackson Barn on the Upper School campus.

"Even though the play was written over thirty years ago, the themes of tolerance and acceptance may be even more important today than when it was written," says director Jillian Haig.

The play stars senior Sean O'Donnell as Charley and Sophia Baron-Kardos as Sergant Froggy. Supporting actors include freshman Sydney Delgado, sophomore Danny Catalan, junior Blu Moreno, freshman Jaden Redman, and junior Maddie Vestal.

Other players include Angela Arredando, Caden Polacheck, Galen Scott, and Hank Molina. The technical crew includes Rene Zepeda, Emma Liu, and Koa Norman. Art teacher Veronica Medina is Assistant Director.

Aside from the wonderful acting in store for audiences, the production also features a custom-built set that helps to set the place and tone of the production.

“I think people are going to have a great time," Ms. Haig says. "It’s a beautifully written script, full of laughs."

The production is free and open to the public.
