Community Service

Helping others-- in the classroom, on campus, throughout the community, and beyond-- is integral to Dunn's core philosophy and is embraced by students and teachers alike.  Social responsibility is not only among our Core Values; it's a way of life on campus because it instills empathy, compassion, and strong leadership abilities in our graduates.

Each year, Dunn Students volunteer hundreds of hours at our annual Relay for Life (a community-based event benefitting the American Cancer Society), coastal clean-up days, and many other student-initiated projects.  This year, students in our Interact and Direct Relief Clubs partnered with Soles for Souls, A Better Chance, Direct Relief, and more!  We believe it is in the spirit of giving of your time that you'll discover the causes that speak to your heart.  At a minimum, students must participate in ten hours of service each year in grades 9-12 as a graduation requirement.
